RESEARCH:
We do research at the intersection between materials science, physics, and chemistry, by using quantum mechanics to model the interaction of atoms in materials. We then use supercomputers to solve these models, so that we can understand the properties of known materials, simulate materials in demanding environments, and design new materials with tailored properties.
